Antenatal Workshops
These 2 hour workshops are delivered as part of the Children's Centre "Great Expectations" programme. They will help you to decide the right choice for you and give information to get you and your baby off to a really good start.
The workshops which last about two house, are held at various venues around Plymouth, and are run by experienced health professionals and volunteer breastfeeding peer supporters. |

When you attend the breastfeeding session you will receive a voucher which can be used to purchase a bra or breastpump at a reduced price. The bras and breastpump are available to purchase, which includes fitting of the bras from 36 weeks of pregnancy, from your local Plymouth Latch-on breastfeeding group. |

We use the National Childbirth Trust (NCT) method of fitting which does not use tape measures. |
As most women will have experienced, bras come up in all shapes and sizing depending on where you purchase them and which design you choose.
A peer supporter can help you choose the correct size bra by showing you how the bra should fit, this way you can choose the best fitting bar yourself without worrying about the size on the label and without needing a shop fitting
